Kick Off Louisville "Independents" Week Early at the Louisville Brewfest!  
Cool Kicks!

The Door Store and Windows will be supporting another local event, this time with a Silent Auction contribution for the 4th Annual Louisville Brewfest on Friday, June 22nd from 4p to 10p at Louisville Slugger Field. Hosted by the Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) and presented by Kentucky Proud, come out, show your local spirit and enjoy some of the area's finest beers, wines, food and music. Admission is free. Tickets for food and drinks can be purchased at the door.

LIBA created "Independents" Week to celebrate local businesses in Louisville. We'll have more "local spirit" to show during "Independents" Week. Watch our blog and your inbox for details. 		   

Eastern High Wins Regional Vans Shoes Design Contest

Congratulations to the Eastern High School team (including member, Brian Shoemaker, son of our own Dena Shoemaker), for winning the Southeast Regional and becoming one of five finalists for the Van's Custom Culture design contest.

Brian was videographer and one of 20 members of the talented Eastern team which won a trip to Los Angeles plus $5000 from Vans and Journeys for their art department. Click here for more photos of Eastern's winning designs.

New Faces:  John Naiser, Window Sales Consultant

John joined the Door Store and Windows team about six months ago and has parlayed his background in the real estate market into success beautifying homes with new Marvin and Integrity windows.

John visited the Warroad, Minnesota corporate headquarters of Marvin as part of his initial training and has taken naturally to his area of focus: residential replacement windows and installed sales of the Marvin and Integrity products.

A graduate of the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University, John and wife Robin have two adult children. John pursues his passion for fly-fishing whenever he's not offering design consultation for windows.
