We regularly dedicate time together as a team toward improving the experience we provide to our window and door customers. These improvement sessions yield significant results and nearly always change the way we perform our services and how we interact with our customers. Recently, we spent several sessions working to clarify our mission statement and discover and identify our core values.
As company leadership and co-owners, Ann and Laurie prepared a written mission statement outlining what we wanted to be. They asked the entire company to help determine our company behaviors and values. Each member prepared, in advance, the three behaviors most important to him or her. During two working sessions, including one Saturday morning, we shared and discussed our ideas, and agreed to the list of values you see on this chart.
Decisions and actions aren’t always clear cut, and our values will provide us with guidelines for our choices. Growing companies such as ours need standards for current and future team members. With these newly drafted values, we improve our chances to behave consistently and harmoniously as a team intent on giving our customers a memorable experience and making our family, friends, neighbors and suppliers glad to live and work with us.
Stop in and experience our mission and values firsthand. We’ll ensure that replacing your windows or doors is an outstanding customer experience! It’s our promise.
