Whether our first meeting is in our showroom or in your home, we strive to learn as much about you and your project as possible before it even begins.
2. Home Meeting and First Measurement
After an initial consultation, one of our door and window specialists meets you at your home to assess your design style and begins making recommendations to fit your needs. You will have the chance to look at catalogs, discuss styles, and review pricing so a quote can be developed. Initial measurements are also taken. If we can, we will present a written project contract and specifications, your design choices, and pricing on the same day, enabling you to launch your home improvement project.
3. Showroom Consultation
Sometimes your project involves a large number of windows and doors, customized product, or even some research. After meeting at your home, taking measurements and talking with you to determine the look and feel you are going for, it’s time to meet in the showroom. During this follow-up meeting we look at several types and brands of windows, samples and colors and review the quote your salesperson created after the in-home meeting. You’ll also have the chance to try out different styles of windows and doors, opening and closing them, testing locks, and making sure the overall design fits your needs.
You will have the opportunity to consider the quote, make changes, and iron out the details before signing the contract. We want you to be comfortable with the project’s scope, specification, and price.
4. Second Measure
Next, a project installation manager visits your home to take final measurements before ordering product. Our measure twice, cut once policy is the first step to our “worry-free guarantee.”
5. Your Installation Plan
Arguably the most intense part of this entire process is the actual installation. We know how important it is that you trust the people working in your home and that you are pleased with the process from start to finish. That’s why we work with you to choose days and times that fit your busy schedule, provide information about the team coming to your home so you know who to expect, and answer any questions you may have leading up to the big day. For multi-day projects, we will give you a day-by-day installation schedule so you will know what rooms we will be working in on what day.
6. Installation Day
Once your product has been delivered and the installation day arrives, it’s our job to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible. Our team takes the time to prep the home first thing. They lay down plastic covers on all flooring they plan to walk on, cover any furniture with plastic sheeting, and fully prep the work areas around each window. Our team will also clean up all work areas whether indoor or outdoor and dispose of all debris from the project. We take pride in our ability to leave your home just as we found it – but with more beautiful windows and doors.

7. Follow-Up
Homeowners completing multi-day, larger scale projects are provided a pad of Door Store and Windows sticky notes to mark any areas of the project they have questions about. We encourage all of our customers, projects big and small, to contact us after installation with any questions and concerns.
8. Completion Report
Our main goal is that our customers are 100% satisfied with their project. Once work for the day is done, our lead installer fills out Completion Report, which our sales manager reviews carefully then call the customer, if necessary, to schedule any additional work. Our goal is to acknowledge any open issues and our intention to resolve any outstanding issues as quickly as possible.
