Can I customize double hung windows?
Yes, many design options are available to you, including finish colors both inside and out, different wood species, hardware styles and finishes, divided lites patterns, screen mesh options – just to mention a few.
Are double hung windows secure?
No window is secure if you forget to lock it. (One exception, a closed, unlocked casement window is tough to open from the outside.) Since it is easy to forget to lock your windows, Marvin offers an auto-lock system that locks the window when it is completely shut. Marvin also offers a Window Opening Control Device, which restricts the window from opening too wide, preventing a small child from accessing it.
