This beautiful East Louisville Colonial home was built in 1966 and purchased by the Johnsons in 2013. Not long after move-in, it was determined new windows were in order, due to excessive street noise and drafts. The homeowners worked with Door Store and Windows to install 25 Marvin double hung windows, and the improvement in look and functionality was immediately evident.
The following year, French doors in the den were replaced, after the homeowners noticed it was always either too hot or too cold in the room. The new doors evened out the temperature, made things more comfortable, and enhanced the room’s style and beauty.

Two years later, as part of a kitchen remodel by Amlung Construction, our team installed a Marvin swinging door in place of an unwanted window.

Project Highlights:
April 2013 – Upgraded 25 Marvin double hung windows including a bay window, on the first and second stories.
August 2014 – Added a set of French doors by Marvin.
April 2022 – Added 19 pairs of Composite Fixed Louvered Exterior Shutters by Southern Shutters.
September 2022 – Replaced front entrance door and sidelites with Marvin French Ultimate Double Doors; also replaced 4 Window Crossheads on the first story front windows.
October 2023 – Installed a Marvin swinging door for new side door opening.
