Heavenly Hash Brown Casserole
Summer Crisp, Sales Support

Our newest employee Summer Crisp’s favorite recipe is from her mother-in-law, taken from a cookbook her mother (Summer’s grandmother-in-law) helped create when she worked at Audubon Hospital in 2001. The recipe was contributed by a close family friend and Audubon co-worker. Since the cookbook was published, the Crisps have made this Heavenly Hashbrown Casserole for almost every big family meal, special occasion, and potluck.

Kentucky Jam Cake
Ann Gregory, Owner

Ann shares her grandmother’s recipe for Kentucky Jam Cake. (Fun fact: TDSW Owners Ann and Laurie were named after their grandmother, Annie Laurie.)  This was her recipe, but it was written down by Ann’s mother, Mary Ann, in her personal recipe book. Mary Ann made it every Christmas and served it with egg custard. It had to have been 1000 calories a slice—and worth every bite!

Turkey Day Leftovers Egg Rolls
Steve Hudson, Installation Expert

Our Installation Expert Steve Hudson sent us his family’s holiday staple—fried eggrolls filled with leftovers! The recipe is simple: stuff egg roll wrappers with all your favorites, deep fry, then serve with a side of Thai Sweet Chili Sauce.

Pecan Pie
Laurie Gregory Scarborough, Owner

Laurie shared this Pecan Pie recipe from her favorite cookbook, The Southern Living Cookbook from 1987. She’s been making this pie for years and passed down the recipe to her daughter, Liz, who she hopes will continue the tradition!
